The Aíto’s García Reneses athletic career started as a coach in 1973, leading the Círcol Catòlic de Badalona, previously called Cotonifici, and later, Licor 43. A path that lasted ten years and then continued along the benches from the Joventut de Badalona, FC Barcelona, Unicaja, Cajasol, Gran Canària, Alba Berlín and now, Girona, without forgetting the path through the Spanish selection for the Beijing Olympic Games.
An easy summary would be more than 1.000 games in the ACB League, with more than double in his entire career, a resume that shows a sliver medal in the Olympic Games, nine leagues, five King Cupes, one Prince of Asturias Cup, two more leagues and one cup in Germany, one Europe Recap, two Korac Coupes, one ULEB Cup and one FIBA Eurocup. All this, combined with other awards in the personal field.
