There are athletes who choose a sport from a very young age, although in some cases it is the sport that hooks the athlete from a young age. This would be the case of Marta Gens Barberà (El Morell, 1969).
When she was doing her secondary studies at the College of Presentation in Reus, she combined the practice of basketball with swimming, but without too much excitement or enthusiasm. In fact, in the sport of the basket, she did not play as a pivot, because she grew up after the age of sixteen.
