She meets me at her house in the middle of the morning, after going to the pool, which she regularly does in the early hours two or three days a week. She immediately explains to me that a few years ago she changed flats and that she took the opportunity to put many things in order in her life, including sports. In fact, she shows me a small wall lock in a corner of the corridor, where eight paintings and the Olympic torch from Barcelona'92 summarize the career of the first Catalan and Spanish athlete to compete in an Olympic final, in this case that of the 200 meter backstroke. It was in Mexico'68. Apart from the eight paintings and the torch hanging from the wall, in an adjacent room there are two trophies that accredit her as the best state athlete, while below a closed drawer is the place where the many medals that she has hung throughout his career rest in order. Beyond these material prizes, it keeps with absolute precision the memories and the experiences lived.
